Just recently we had time to shoot the band scene, which from what I can recall we didnt want to use, but on review we drew up a storyboard and checked whether it fitted in nicely, to which it did. After doing a few test shots we got busy into shooting a proper band scene. this took us the better part of three hours mainly because we brought all the intruments to Harry's house and set the instruments up on his decking, which placed the band at a higher level which made shooting low close ups much easier, with the spring sky complementing the mise en scene (the general 'feel good' feeling of the band and the music video) showing continuity.
The day seemed almost perfect except when we wanted to start filming and we'd realised that the battery had run dead, unfortunatly we hadnt any time to recharge it the last time so we had to charge it now which took and hours worth of out time. Once the battery was charged we had been shooting the band scene for no longer than half an hour when the heavens opend and rain started bomabrading us, what seemed like the perfect day was just getting worse. However we agreed that we'd come so far that we wouldnt give up, just then the skys cleared and blazing sunshine poured through (just a passing cloud apparently), both tad and i took turns in shooting at different angles and lengths to hopefully help create a fast paced band scene when edited of course.
We are now on the final legs of shooting and are near completion of our music video...
